As a child, I was continually reminded to “keep my hands to myself”.  When I became an adult, I busied my hands caring for my five children and performing clerical duties in my home office.  When the baby went to school, I began the search for different employment.

While exploring ideas for employment in tune with my personality, I stumbled on the Finger Lakes School of Massage in Ithaca.  The perfect fit.  I completed the program and received a New York State License and National Certification in Massage and Bodywork.

In 1997, I opened a private practice in my current location in downtown Palmyra, NY.

Because of my commitment to continuing my education, I have received advanced training in Orthopedic, Neuromuscular, Pregnancy and Facial Massage, including Active Isolated Stretch Therapy and Massage for People Living with Cancer.

In 2010, I received an Aromatherapy Certification from the prestigious Aromahead Institute: School of Essential Oil Studies, and am enthusiastically formulating effective and exquisite blends made from the highest quality organic or wild crafted essential oils.

Because of the uniqueness of each one of us, every session is unique and custom. I skillfully integrate my education in diverse modalities, hot and cold therapy, healing essential oils and my hands  to assist in the quest for awareness and well-being.

“Touching hands are not like pharmaceuticals or scalpel.  They are like flashlights in a darkened room.  The medicine they administer is self-awareness.”  Dean Juhan
